Work on View at Levengoods!

SETTING IT UP

I’m so grateful to my friend, Danica at Levengoods of Lancaster for bringing me together with two beautiful people and their beautiful artwork. Bruce Banter, Eddie Berkoski, Danica, and I had fun figuring the show out. We hadn’t seen each other’s work in person and all of a sudden it was all in the same room. Bruce had the great idea of mixing things up so that our paintings would intermingle. He also happens to be blessed with a talent for hanging things neatly. I think his spatial acuity comes from all of his years of graphic design. Eddie’s paintings have deep currents and are centered on mysticism. I feel like some of our paintings are kindred spirits.

OPENING NIGHT

A week ago we celebrated the show opening on a gorgeous First Friday night. The windows at Levengoods were open and the cider was flowing. We had a great turnout and it was so delightful to have friends old and new there in support. This was my first show opening in 10 years and I had forgotten how good it feels to share your art with people and get to see what they see.

The show will be up for a couple of months. So maybe more posts to come about it….
